Manama : The National Space Science Agency (NSSA) organised the seventh edition of the global space science applications hackathon on October 5-6, in collaboration with NASA. The event took place at two locations simultaneously: the University of Bahrain and Bahrain Polytechnic, with over 300 students, entrepreneurs, professionals, specialists, and enthusiasts participating. The Bahrain Society of Engineers contributed to hosting and organising this year’s edition. Manama : Bahrain All Share Index has Closed at 2,006.31 points, marking a decrease of 1.99 points below the previous closing. This decrease was due to the drop in the financial sector and material sector. Bahrain Islamic Index has closed at 803.04 points, marking an increase of 0.64 points above the previous closing. Results indicated that 55 equity transactions took place with a volume of 825,817 worth BD 346,148. Investors traded mainly in the financial sector representing 75.01% of the total value of securities traded.
Manama : Wael bin Nasser Al Mubarak, the Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture Minister, met with a delegation from the International Institute for Management Development (IMD).
