Manama : Government Hospitals Administration have approved the expansion of the “Tammini” (Reassure Me) platform, marking the start of its implementation following its receipt of the People’s Choice Award in the seventh edition of the Fikra Government Innovation Competition, held in implementation of the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
A dedicated committee has been formed to oversee the phased rollout, which aims to expand the platform’s services while ensuring quality, operational efficiency, and long-term sustainability.
The first phase will introduce the platform across 16 critical departments, including intensive care units, operating theatres, maternity wards, endoscopy services, the Accident and Emergency admissions department, specialist and isolation wards, the Outpatient Appointments Call Centre, and the Wound Care Clinic.
The phase will also integrate several patient communication and support services into the Tammini platform, including private healthcare services, the multidisciplinary Sickle Cell Disease Clinic, the National Bank of Bahrain Multiple Sclerosis Centre, pharmacy and social services, and the Patient Relations Office, with the aim of streamlining communication and improving service delivery.
Government Hospitals stated that the expansion will be supported by technical upgrades, staff training, and a public awareness campaign. The second phase will extend the platform to 66 additional general wards, increasing coverage to more than 85 treatment locations across its healthcare facilities.
Government Hospitals affirmed that the Tammini platform reflects Bahrain’s commitment to delivering patient-centred healthcare through the integration of innovation, digital solutions, and high-quality services.
