Manama : The Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA) announced the implementation of 1,547 inspection campaigns and visits, during the period of November 24-30, which resulted in the detention of 48 violating and irregular workers, while 44 violators were deported. The inspection campaigns and visits also resulted in monitoring several violations related to the provisions of several regulating laws, especially the LMRA and the Residency Laws in the Kingdom, noting that legal measures were taken regarding the observed violations. Bangkok : The death toll from the worst floods in decades in southern Thailand and northern Malaysia climbed to at least 12 on Saturday, authorities said, as tens of thousands of people were evacuated due to rising water levels in the past three days.
