Amman : Dr. Jafar Hassan, Prime Minister of Jordan, received Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), and the heads of delegations participating in the first Gulf-Jordanian Investment Conference.
The meeting discussed efforts to enhance economic and commercial relations between the private sector of both sides and explored joint investment opportunities and exchanging expertise to enhance economic growth and exchange.
The secretary-general expressed his appreciation to His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein, King of Jordan, for his patronage of this important conference.
He highlighted the strong historical and strategic ties between the GCC countries and Jordan, emphasizing that the directives of Their Majesties and Highnesses, the leaders of the GCC, consistently call for strengthening relations with Jordan across all sectors and developing them to serve the mutual interests of both sides.
