Berlin : Around 12,500 people died due to heat in Germany from April 6 to August 2, 2026, according to the latest report on heat-related deaths issued by the Robert Koch Institute (RKI). According to the data, heat is especially dangerous for older residents. At around 6,300, the most deaths were recorded in the age group 85 years or older. Manama : The Supreme Council for Environment (SCE) has announced that a ban on fishing kingfish (Chan’ad) using nets in the territorial waters of the Kingdom of Bahrain will take effect from August 15 until October 15, 2026. Manama : The Chief of the Enforcement of Criminal  Judgments Prosecution said the Public Prosecution’s role extends beyond the issuance of judgments in criminal cases to ensuring the enforcement of final judgments, including custodial sentences, fines, restitution and confiscation of funds, in accordance with the law.
