Doha : The Ministry of Transport of the State of Qatar announced on Sunday the suspension of all maritime activities as a precautionary measure, effective immediately and until further notice. In a statement carried by the Qatar News Agency (QNA), the ministry called on all owners and users of marine vessels, including leisure boats, fishing boats, jet skis, and other similar marine craft, to temporarily stop sailing and carrying out maritime activities, effective from the date of issuance of the circular until further notice, in the interest of public safety. Muscat : The Sultanate of Oman has summoned Mousa Farhang, Ambassador of Iran to the Sultanate of Oman, to hand him a formal note of protest following the targeting of sites in the Governorates of Musandam and Al Wusta by unmanned aerial vehicles. Kuwait : Three land border posts in northern Kuwait came under attack, resulting in material damage. In a statement, Colonel Saud Abdulaziz Al Atwan, official spokesperson of the Ministry of Defence, said a Kuwait Oil Company offshore drilling platform in Kuwait’s territorial waters was also targeted by a hostile drone. The attack caused material damage and injured one worker, who is receiving the necessary medical treatment, he added.
