Riyadh : Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, met with His Highness Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The meeting reviewed the historical ties between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia and their continued growth under the guidance of the two countries’ leadership. The ministers discussed means to further strengthen bilateral cooperation, advance joint projects under the Bahrain–Saudi Coordination Council, and promote the shared interests and objectives of the two countries.
They also reviewed regional developments, efforts to enhance security and stability and safeguard freedom of navigation, as well as the latest progress in the United States–Iran negotiations.

The ministers exchanged views on GCC cooperation and coordination in addressing current regional challenges, underscoring the importance of expediting the implementation of the decisions adopted by the GCC leaders at their consultative meeting in Jeddah on April 28.
They also reaffirmed the importance of Gulf solidarity and unity, stressing that the security of GCC member states is indivisible and that any attack against one member state is an attack against them all.
