Manama : Nawaf bin Mohammed Al Maawda, Minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments and Chairman of the Islamic Endowments Council, said that the directive of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to distribute the annual disbursement to charitable societies and Maatams (community centres), reflects His Majesty’s enduring humanitarian approach and commitment to supporting charitable and social initiatives that promote the values of solidarity and compassion among citizens.
Minister Al Maawda noted that the royal directive reflects His Majesty’s continued support for community institutions and their role in serving citizens and residents, while reinforcing national cohesion and coexistence and supporting the social and religious role of charitable societies and Maatams.
The Justice Minister expressed gratitude and appreciation to HM the King for the continued support extended to charitable and community initiatives across the Kingdom.
