Dubai : Shaikh Salman bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, CEO of the National Cyber Security Center (NCSC), participated in the World Governments Summit 2025, themed “Shaping Future Governments”, held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The summit brought together heads of state, government officials, decision-makers, and specialists from various countries.
Shaikh Salman bin Mohammed took part in a panel discussion titled “How Can Governments Strengthen Digital Resilience?” where he outlined Bahrain’s strategies for ensuring digital resilience by balancing regulation and innovation. He highlighted the Kingdom’s efforts to strengthen the digital economy through a resilient technological infrastructure and proactive measures to address potential cyber incidents.
He emphasised Bahrain’s commitment to cybersecurity as a key component of national strategies, focusing on safeguarding critical national infrastructure (CNI) and implementing information security best practices. He also highlighted Bahrain’s emphasis on international collaboration, the development of cybersecurity related companies, knowledge exchange, and the continuous enhancement of policies, laws, and regulations to keep pace with technological advancements.
Shaikh Salman bin Mohammed stressed the importance of prioritising digital resilience to ensure economic stability, seamless digital services, and public trust.
He commended Dubai’s role in hosting the World Governments Summit, noting its contribution to advancing global cybersecurity efforts by addressing infrastructure protection challenges, fostering dialogue, and promoting international cooperation.
