Manila :A magnitude 5.7 aftershock struck Sarangani province in the Philippines, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said on Saturday.
The aftershock was centred 21 kilometres west of Balut Island in Davao Occidental province.
The institute said the tremor was an aftershock of the magnitude 7.8 earthquake that struck Sarangani on Monday and warned that further damage is possible.
