Manama : His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa today issued Royal Decree 63/2023 assigning the Special Envoy for Climate Affairs with the duties of the CEO of the Supreme Council for the Environment (SCE), based on the nomination of the Council’s President and after the approval of the Cabinet.
The decree stipulated that the Special Envoy for Climate Affairs shall be entrusted with the technical, administrative and financial duties of the CEO of the SCE until a new CEO is appointed for the Council.
The SCE President shall implement this decree, which shall come into effect from the date of its issuance, and it shall be published in the Official Gazette.
