Manama: Sustainable Energy Authority (SEA)’s President Dr. Abdulhussain bin Ali Mirza received the newly appointed Acting Resident Representative of the UN Development Program (UNDP) in Bahrain Aikan Mukanbetova. Dr. Mirza wished her success in carrying out her duties, praising her experience and high efficiency. He hailed the tireless efforts of the Former UNDP Resident Representative Stefano Pettinato, through which he was keen to support the goals and efforts of the Kingdom in the lead global transition to sustainable energy. The president reviewed the features of the cooperation process between the SEA and the UNDP, highlighting the most important achievements and plans that were achieved in the national process of transition to sustainable energy. Mirza discussed coordination with UN organizations that enabled Bahrain to reach high status, praising in particular UNDP efforts in Bahrain and its workers.
