Bahrain : His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa today ratified and promulgated Law (11) of 2022 on endorsing the Statute of the Arab Federation of Nature Reserves, which has been approved by the Shura and Representatives Councils. The law stipulates that the Kingdom of Bahrain does not consider itself bound by the provisions of paragraph 5 of Article (4) of the Statute of the Arab Federation of Nature Reserves. The Prime Minister and ministers, each in their capacity, shall implement the provisions of this law which takes effect upon its publication in the Official Gazette.
USA: New York, the city fire department said , several people were shot on Tuesday morning at a subway station in Brooklyn. Authorities initially responded to a smoke condition at about 8:30 a.m. at the 36th Street station, which serves the D, N and R lines. Once inside, first responders encountered multiple people shot and numerous undetonated devices. Police were seeking a Black man with an orange vest. WASHINGTON : The Biden administration on Monday expanded existing U.S. travel bans against Chinese officials whom it accuses of repressing ethnic and religious minorities. The State Department said it is barring those targeted from traveling to the United States due to their involvement in crackdowns on freedom of speech and religion in China and abroad. The department did not identify which officials would be subject to the expanded ban nor say how many would be affected.
