Bahrain has reported 291 new COVID-19 cases among 196 expatriate workers and 95 contacts of active cases. These new cases bring up the total cases in the kingdom to 10,740 and there are 4,914 active cases of which 10 are critical and the rest stable, according to the Ministry of Health. There are currently 43 COVID-19 cases receiving treatment. MOH also reported 111 new recoveries from COVID-19, bringing the total recoveries in the country to 5,811. UAE announced 883 new COVID-19 cases, taking the total cases in the country to 33,170, according to the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP). Saudi Arabia has reported 1,581 new coronavirus infections during the past 24 hours, raising the total to 81,766, according to the health ministry. Oman has reported 811 new cases of coronavirus (COVID-19), taking the total cases in the sultanate to 9,820. Most of the newly admitted cases are from foreigners, which is 496 and the rest 315 from Omanis, according to the Ministry of Health. Undersecretary of the Kuwaiti National Guard Lieut. Gen. Hashem Al-Refaei on Thursday opened a new quarantine centre for the body’s personnel infected with COVID-19.
