Djibouti : Ismail Omar Guelleh, the President of Djibouti, received Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, at the Presidential Palace in the capital city of Djibouti. Manama : His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received a cable of thanks from Shaikh Ahmed bin Hamad bin Ahmed Al Khalifa and his brothers. They expressed appreciatio to His Majesty for extending condolences on the passing of their late father, Shaikh Hamad bin Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa. Shaikh Ahmed bin Hamad bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, on behalf of himself and his brothers, conveyed sincere gratitude and appreciation for His Majesty’s royal decision to name one of the streets near Muharraq Club after their late father.
Manama : The Royal Court today mourned the passing of Shaikh Abdullah bin Salman bin Khalid Al Khalifa, Head of the Military Office of His Majesty the King. A statement issued by the Royal Court included prayer that Allah the Almighty would rest the soul of the deceased in eternal peace, and bless his relatives with patience and fortitude.

Manama : His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the King of the Kingdom of Bahrain, has issued Royal Decree No. (24) of 2024 to establish the Prisoners and Detainees Rights Commission (PDRC). Singapore : A Singapore Air Force F-16 plane crashed at Tengah Air Base on Wednesday at 12:35 p.m., Singapore’s defence ministry said on Wednesday. The plane “experienced an issue during take-off and the pilot responded in accordance with emergency procedures”, the ministry said in a statement, Reuters reported. It said the pilot ejected successfully and is conscious and able to walk, and is receiving medical attention. The ministry said investigations are ongoing.
