Manama : His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa issued Decree (28) of 2026, adding a member to the Board of Directors of the General Sports Authority, based on a proposal of the Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports and following the approval of the Cabinet.
The decree stipulated the following:
Article One
The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Finance and National Economy for Financial Affairs shall be added to the membership of the Board of Directors of the General Sports Authority. The term of membership shall continue until the end of the current board’s term.
Article Two
The Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports shall implement this decree. The decree shall come into effect from the date of its issuance and shall be published in the Official Gazette.
