Manama : His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received His Excellency Volodymyr Zelenskyy, President of Ukraine, who is visiting the Kingdom.
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, attended the meeting.
His Majesty the King reviewed the developing bilateral relations and discussed means to further advance cooperation across vital sectors, in a manner that serves the interests and objectives of the two nations.
His Majesty and His Excellency reviewed regional and international developments, particularly the situation in the region and ongoing efforts in this regard, as well as the latest developments concerning the crisis in Ukraine.
HM the King thanked the Ukrainian President for his sincere sentiments of solidarity with the Kingdom of Bahrain following the Iranian attacks targeting the Kingdom’s territory and the states of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).
His Majesty further emphasised Bahrain’s support for all initiatives and endeavours aimed at advancing dialogue and diplomacy to achieve a lasting peace in Ukraine, in a way that serves the interests of all parties and contributes to strengthening peace and stability across Europe and the world.
