Manama : Jameel bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan, Minister of Labour, met with Hassan Ali Al Mushaima, Director General of Grnata Real Estate Group, accompanied by several Bahraini employees. The meeting reviewed the group’s achievements in employing more than 83 Bahrainis during the recent period in supervisory, technical, administrative, and marketing positions. Abu Dhabi : The General Sports Authority (GSA) and the General Sports Authority of the United Arab Emirates signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) about cooperation in sports. His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS), Chairman of GSA, and President of Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC); and of the General Sports Authority, signed the MoU. Manama : Jameel bin Mohammad Ali Humaidan, Minister of Labour, met with Nawaf Al Jishi, Chairman of the Bahrain Society of the Private Training Institutes. Fort Worth : At least 21 people were injured Monday in an apparent gas leak explosion at the Sandman Hotel in downtown Fort Worth, Texas, the city’s fire department said. Nobody was killed in the explosion and authorities were investigating the cause, Reuters reported. Craig Trojacek, a spokesman for the Fort Worth Fire Department, said first responders rescued several people trapped in the basement of the hotel. Of the 21 people injured, one person was in critical condition, while four others had serious but not life threatening injuries, Trojacek said. The others sustained minor injuries. Manama, The Information & eGovernment Authority (iGA), in cooperation with the Bahrain Center for Strategic, International, and Energy Studies (Derasat), has announced the launch of the annual Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) of 2022 and 2023 on the services and mobile applications provided by the Information & eGovernment Authority (iGA).
