Manama :The Electricity and Water Authority (EWA) confirmed that citizens can register for the Fixed Monthly Bill System for their first home until October 31, in implementation of an order by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. The EWA noted that eligible citizens can register electronically through its website at eservices.ewa.bh/fixed. A fixed monthly amount will be calculated for each subscriber based on their average bills from June 2025 to May 2026 and paid monthly throughout the year. Manama : Yasser bin Ibrahim Humaidan, Minister of Electricity and Water Affairs, announced that the Electricity and Water Authority (EWA) has opened registration for its monthly Fixed Billing System until October 31, in implementation of an order by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. The order grants Bahraini citizens in their first residences an exceptional opportunity to register retroactively, effective from May 2026. Abu Dhabi : The UAE Cabinet, chaired by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has approved the federal budget for 2027–2029, totalling AED292.5 billion, an increase of 28.3% compared with the previous three-year period. the Cabinet also approved estimated expenditure of AED90.1 billion for the 2027 fiscal year. Bangkok : Thailand’s Interior Ministry announced on Monday that the death toll from floods since September 16 has risen to 71. The Thai interior ministry said that between September 16 to October 12, flooding occurred in 51 provinces. Currently, 21 ⁠provinces have areas that are still affected by floods, ⁠including Bangkok. A total of 908,000 ⁠households have been affected, the ⁠ministry said.
