Bahrain : The second International Conference will be held on March 24-26 at the Diplomat Radisson Blu Hotel.
Forty-four speakers from overseas countries will take part in the three-day forum, which will be organised by the Arabian Gulf University.
More than 400 participants are expected to take part in the conference, including internal medicine practitioners, medical students, researchers, nurses and health professionals.
The three-day event will focus on internal diseases, subspecialties in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), and highlight the impact of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) on human health.
AGU Internal Medicine Department Chief, Conference Chief Dr. Amjad Al Baz said that the second edition will spotlight internal diseases such as cardiovascular diseases, high blood pressure and diabetes, kidney, liver and digestive diseases, endocrine diseases, blood diseases and cancerous tumors, as well as rheumatic diseases, respiratory diseases and intensive care, infectious diseases and neurological diseases.
Keynote speakers from Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, Oman, Egypt, Spain, Germany and the USA and other countries will address the conference.
