Manama : His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, met today with the Minister of Education, Chairman of the Supreme Organising Committee for the International School Games (ISF) Gymnasiade Bahrain 2024, HE Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Juma, and the members of the Executive Organising Committee for the ISF Gymnasiade Bahrain 2024, at Gudaibiya Palace.
The International School Games (ISF) Gymnasiade Bahrain 2024 is being hosted by the Kingdom of Bahrain under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad noted that the Kingdom continues to adopt initiatives that strengthen its capabilities to host international competitions, in line with the far-reaching vision of HM the King.
His Royal Highness emphasised Team Bahrain’s excellence across all fields, highlighting their efforts and contributions to the Kingdom’s overall development, which enhances Bahrain’s global standing and competitiveness across a wide-range of sectors.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister expressed his gratitude to all those involved in organising the competition.
His Royal Highness expressed his pride in Bahrainis’ successes and achievements across various sectors, reflecting their relentless determination and commitment.
HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad highlighted the important role of sports competitions in building bridges of communication and cooperation between countries and their citizens.
His Royal Highness expressed his pride that sports competitions hosted by Bahrain are achieving record-breaking participation and high organisational excellence.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister commended the initiatives and programmes implemented to advance the Kingdom’s sports sector. HRH acknowledged the support of His Majesty the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs and Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, along with the First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS), Chairman of the General Sports Authority (GSA), and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC), His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
His Royal Highness expressed his wishes for the continued success of Bahraini citizens across various sectors, strengthening Bahraini excellence and enhancing the Kingdom’s international standing in sports.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister concluded by welcoming the the ISF Gymnasiade Bahrain 2024, as well as its record-breaking participation witnessed in its event in Bahrain.
For their part, the Minister of Education and Chairman of the Supreme Organising Committee for the International School Games (ISF) Gymnasiade Bahrain 2024, along with the Committee’s members, expressed their gratitude for His Royal Highness’s support for the international competition, which contributed to its organisational success.
They also affirmed their commitment to strengthening the Kingdom’s capacity to host international sports events.
His Majesty the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Isa bin Salman Education Charitable Trust and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Labour Fund (Tamkeen), His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and the Minister of Cabinet Affairs, His Excellency Hamad bin Faisal Al Malki, also attended the meeting.
