Manama : The Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments announced the launch of its unified summer programme for 2026 at centres serving younger generations.
Dr. Ali Amin Al Rais, Director of Religious Affairs at the ministry, said the eight-week programme aims to make use of the summer holiday by developing participants’ knowledge and skills and strengthening Islamic and national values through educational, training and interactive programmes designed for different age groups.
He said the programme includes initiatives focusing on the Prophetic Sunnah, educational values and the practical application of prayer rulings, in addition to programmes that promote national belonging, responsible citizenship, social etiquette and the safe use of technology.
The programme also includes activities related to digital privacy, cybersecurity and artificial intelligence, as well as workshops in Arabic calligraphy, digital design, photography, digital production, drawing and handicrafts.
Dr. Al Rais added that the programme features initiatives to develop creativity, leadership skills and financial awareness, including introducing participants to the principles of saving and financial planning.
He encouraged parents to enrol their children in the centres during the summer holiday.
