AstraZeneca Plc said on Saturday it signed a contract with European governments to supply the region with its potential vaccine against the coronavirus, the British drugmaker’s latest deal to pledge its drug to help combat the pandemic. The contract is for up to 400 million doses of the vaccine, developed by the University of Oxford, the company said, adding that it was looking to expand the manufacturing of the vaccine, which it said it would provide for no profit during the pandemic. Saudi Arabia has reported 3,366 new cases and 39 deaths from coronavirus, taking the total cases to 123,308. The death toll raised to 932 after reporting the new deaths. UAE has recorded a drop of 491 cases, and 1 fatality from coronavirus in the past 24 hours, taking the total cases in the country to 41,990, according to the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP).
