Amman : His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa attended the luncheon hosted in his honour by His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein of Jordan. The luncheon was also attended by senior officials and the delegation accompanying His Majesty the King.

The talks between the two leaders will focus on the close Bahraini-Egyptian ties and recent regional developments. Manama : The Meteorological Directorate at the Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications forecasted intermittent moderate to heavy thundery showers that are expected to affect the kingdom from Monday evening until Tuesday evening. The expected showers will be accompanied by strong wind gusts reaching 40 knots at times causing rough seas. The public is advised to be cautious and avoid sea activities.
Islamabad : Heavy flooding from seasonal rains in Afghanistan has killed at least 33 people and injured 27 others in three days. More than 600 houses were either damaged or destroyed while around 200 livestock died. The flooding also damaged around 800 hectares of agricultural land, and more than 85 kilometers (53 miles) of roads. Western Farah, Herat, southern Zabul and Kandahar are among the provinces that suffered the most damage. The weather department forecast more rain in the coming days in most of Afghanistan’s 34 provinces.
Manama : : The Capital Governorate announced the launch of the Ninth Edition of Manama Entrepreneurship Week (MEW), in cooperation with the Labour Fund (Tamkeen) and more than 20 institutes. Tallahassee : Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA) participated in the Seatrade Cruise Global 2024 Exhibition and Conference. The four-day exhibition served as the largest event within the cruise ship industry worldwide, drawing in senior industry professionals and decision-makers from various corners of the globe. Kuwait : His Highness Shaikh Mishal Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, Amir of Kuwait, assigned Shaikh Ahmad Abdullah Al Ahmad Al Sabah as Prime Minister. An Amiri Order has been issued, designating Shaikh Ahmad to assume the esteemed role of forming a government. In this capacity, he will be responsible for selecting and proposing the names of esteemed individuals to serve as ministers.
