Manama : His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa today issued Royal Order (23) of 2024, adjourning the second session of the sixth Legislative Term of the Shura and Representatives councils, as of Tuesday, May 8. The Royal Order shall be published in the Official Gazette.

Rio : Heavy rains battering Brazil’s southernmost state of Rio Grande do Sul have killed 39 people, local authorities said on Friday, and the death toll is expected to rise as dozens still have not been accounted for.
