Three additional repatriation flights to Bahrain have been announced as part of the 3rd phase of the Vande Bharat Mission. The first one is a connection flight (Bahrain-Delhi-Bhubaneswar) and the other 2 will fly from Bahrain to Kochi. VBM Flight Dates: Bahrain-Delhi-Bhubaneswar: 20th June Bahrain-Kochi: 25th June Bahrain-Kochi: 28th June The time for these flights has not been announced. Bahrain has announced the death from a 72-year-old male Bahraini national, a registered active case of coronavirus, taking the country’s total deaths to 27. The patient was suffering from underlying and chronic health problems. The country has been reporting more deaths in recent days. The Ministry of Health expresses its heartfelt condolences to the individual’s family at this difficult time. The patient, along with all other active COVID-19 cases, had been placed in isolation and received extensive 24-hour treatment from a specialised medical team. UAE has announced 568 cases, and 5 fatalities from coronavirus in the past 24 hours, taking the total cases in the country to 39,376, according to the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP). The new death takes the total fatalities to 281. 469 new recoveries were also announced, bringing the total recoveries to 22,275. This means over 56 percent of the confirmed cases have fully recovered from the virus. Currently, there are 16,820 cases receiving treatment. Saudi Arabia has reported 3,369 new cases and 34 deaths from coronavirus, taking the total cases to 105,283. The death toll raised to 712 after reporting the new deaths. Bahrain has reported 654 new cases of coronavirus, the highest daily cases ever, among 314 expatriate workers, 299 contacts of active cases, and 41 are travel-related.
