Coast Guard Commander announced that the coast guard land backup patrols had arrested a man, 41, for violating the shrimp catching ban and 450 kg of shrimps confiscated from him.⠀ The suspect tried to escape while loading a vehicle with the shrimps from a boat, in which legal steps were taken for his arrest. Kuwait has reported 527 new coronavirus cases, the majority of the cases are from Kuwaitis which is 264, taking the total confirmed cases in the country 36,958, according to the Ministry of Health. 5 patients died of the coronavirus in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of deaths to 303. 675 new recoveries have been reported in the country, raising the total recoveries to 28,206. Dubai Customs has foiled an attempt to smuggle 58 Vallourec counterfeit oil and gas pipes into the country. The Intellectual Property Department of Dubai Customs received a tip-off that four containers onboard a vessel coming from an Asian country are carrying 58 counterfeit oil and gas pipes. It was announced last week that Olena Zelensky, 42, had tested positive for COVID-19 but that her husband Volodymyr and two children had not. Bahrain has announced the death of an 80-year-old female citizen from coronavirus. The total deaths have soared to 47. The MOH expressed its condolences to the family of the deceased.
