Embassy of India organized the open house

Bahrain : The Embassy of India organized the last open house of the year on 29 December, 2023, which was chaired by the Ambassador. The Embassy’s Consular team and panel of lawyers were also present. Around 50 Indian nationals took part in the grievance redressal process.

The Ambassador began the open house by extending the greetings and best wishes to everyone on account of  Christmas and New Year.

The Ambassador thanked LMRA for organizing a valuable interactive session on 14^th December in connection with labour and social affairs.  The Community members present in the open house were briefed on the LMRA guidelines.

The Ambassador thanked the Bahrain Government authorities including the Ministry of Labour, LMRA and Immigration authorities for their prompt support and action concerning Consular and Community Welfare matters. He also appreciated the commitment and dedication of Indian Community organisations and volunteers in helping the distressed members of Indian Diaspora throughout the year.

The Mission continued to help distressed Indian nationals including housemaids by providing boarding and accommodation, as well as granting Emergency certificates and tickets to persons in need through ICWF

It was a fruitful interactive session. The grievances/issues of the Indian community were successfully addressed; some resolved at the open house, while others will be taken up at the earliest possible. Ambassador thanked all the Indian associations and community members for their active participation in the open house.
