Manama : Based on His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s order to announce a three-day mourning following the passing of the late Amir of the State of Kuwait, His Highness Shaikh Nawaf Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, all events marking the kingdom’s National Days for today and the following two days were postponed, and will resume on December 19.
Therefore, all activities of the Heritage Village, the Bahrain Festival City and Muharraq Nights will be postponed until the end of the official mourning period.
The fireworks display, set to be held today at the Bahrain International Circuit marking the kingdom’s national days, was put off until Friday, December 22.
