Tokyo : His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa, Vice President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) and head of the Kingdom of Bahrain’s delegation, attended the opening ceremony of the 20th Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan. The Games are being held from September 19 to October 4, with senior officials, sports figures and representatives of participating Asian delegations in attendance.
HH Shaikh Isa bin Ali highlighted the support for the team and encouraging the athletes as they begin their participation in the continental event.

HH Shaikh Isa bin Ali said Bahrain’s participation in the Games marks an important occasion for Bahraini athletes and wished for their success in the competitions.
HH Shaikh Isa bin Ali also expressed confidence in the athletes’ ability to give their best and represent the Kingdom with distinction at the Asian event.
The opening ceremony was held at the Nagoya City Mizuho Park Athletics Stadium in a celebratory atmosphere combining traditional Japanese culture with modern music. It featured artistic, cultural and heritage performances showcasing aspects of Japanese identity, alongside displays highlighting the spirit of the Asian Games and the continent’s cultural diversity.
