Manama : Bahrain FinTech Bay (BFB), through its sister company Innovate for Bahrain (I4BH), has announced an exclusive partnership with Shaffra, a GCC-born enterprise AI workforce platform, at Gateway Gulf 2026, the investment forum hosted by the Bahrain Economic Development Board (EDB).
Under the partnership, I4BH will serve as Shaffra’s partner in the Kingdom of Bahrain, bringing its enterprise-grade AI solutions to organisations across the public and private sectors.
Shaffra’s AI employees helped enterprises and government entities save more than two million working hours per month in 2025. The partnership combines Shaffra’s AI technology and regional deployment experience with I4BH’s local expertise, established relationships and implementation capabilities.
The two companies will also explore the development of new solutions using Shaffra’s platform to serve priority sectors, with potential cooperation extending to opportunities beyond Bahrain.
Bader Sater, Chief Executive Officer of Bahrain FinTech Bay, said the partnership reflects the objective behind establishing Innovate for Bahrain: making advanced technologies accessible to Bahraini organisations.
He noted that Shaffra’s AI employees are already being deployed by enterprises and government entities across the region, adding that the partnership would enable organisations across Bahrain’s economy, including banks, government entities and growing businesses, to benefit from these capabilities with local support throughout the implementation process, from initial engagement to deployment.
Sater said the partnership reflects the vision of Gateway Gulf 2026 to reimagine global partnerships by combining international technology with local expertise and delivery.
Through the partnership, Bahraini organisations will have access to AI employees performing functions in customer service, sales, human resources, finance, operations and project management, each with clearly defined roles and responsibilities.
Ready-made solutions, including AI Call Centres, AI Sales Centres and AI Project Managers, can be integrated into existing operations. Shaffra’s Subconscious AI technology enables these AI employees to retain relevant information as they work, while allowing each one to learn from an organisation’s own policies and systems in both Arabic and English.
The solutions can be deployed on each organisation’s own infrastructure, ensuring that its data remains under its control, while a governance layer establishes roles, access permissions and audit controls.
Alharith Alatawi, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Shaffra, expressed pride in partnering with Innovate for Bahrain to introduce the company’s AI Workforce Platform in the Kingdom.
He said Autonomous AI Teams had demonstrated their ability across the GCC to transform business operations, improve efficiency and enable employees to focus on higher-value tasks.
Alatawi added that the partnership aims to extend these capabilities to Bahraini enterprises and government institutions, accelerating the adoption of practical and impactful AI solutions. He also highlighted Bahrain’s position at the forefront of regional innovation and the company’s commitment to supporting the Kingdom’s progress in enterprise AI.
The partnership will support AI adoption across key sectors of Bahrain’s economy, including financial services, government, telecommunications, healthcare, education, hospitality, retail and logistics.
It also aligns with Bahrain Economic Vision 2030 and the Kingdom’s efforts to advance digital innovation, enhance economic competitiveness and develop a knowledge-based economy across the public and private sectors.
