Manama : Gulf Air, the national carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain, joined Youth City 2030 as a partner, reinforcing cooperation between the public and private sectors in supporting youth initiatives. The programme is organised by the Ministry of Youth Affairs in cooperation with the Labour Fund (Tamkeen).
The partnership aims to enrich participants’ experience through a range of interactive programmes and activities that provide insight into the aviation sector and the career and technical opportunities it offers as one of the Kingdom’s key economic sectors.
As part of the partnership, Gulf Air will offer participants hands-on training using a flight simulator, allowing them to experience the basics of aircraft operation in a virtual environment. The airline will also organise workshops and specialised training programmes covering various fields of the aviation industry to enhance participants’ knowledge, develop their skills, and encourage their interest in modern technologies and innovation.
The partnership reflects the Ministry of Youth Affairs’ efforts to expand cooperation with leading national institutions to enhance the quality of programmes offered through Youth City 2030 and provide young Bahrainis with opportunities to gain practical experience and skills in promising sectors, preparing them for the labour market.
