Makkah : The General Court of Audit (GCA) of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Court of Accounts of the Republic of Türkiye signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance cooperation in accounting, auditing, and professional development. The agreement reflects both sides’ commitment to building partnerships and exchanging expertise.
Under the terms of the MoU, the two Supreme Audit Institutions (SAIs) will collaborate on financial, compliance, and performance auditing, exchange expertise, and build professional capacities. The agreement includes cooperation in research and advisory projects, the organisation of joint meetings, conferences, and training programmes on topics of mutual interest, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
This partnership is framed within the activities of the International Organisation of Supreme Audit Institutions (INTOSAI) and the Asian Organisation of Supreme Audit Institutions (ASOSAI), of which both sides are members.
Following the signing, both sides held a bilateral meeting with specialists from each SAI to discuss areas of joint work and means to align their approaches on relevant topics.
