Manama : The Electricity and Water Authority (EWA) has announced the availability of its services on the unified MyGov application, in line with government directives to accelerate digital transformation and integrate smart government service applications.
Mona Al Hashemi, Acting Deputy CEO for Customer Services and Digital Transformation at EWA, said that subscribers can now access various EWA services through the MyGov app. These include bill inquiries and payments, security deposit and connection fee payments for electricity and water services, and access to previous bills and payment history.
She highlighted EWA’s commitment to continuously enhancing its services, noting its collaboration with the Information and eGovernment Authority (iGA) to expand e-services in future phases on MyGov, improving accessibility and user experience.
Al Hashemi emphasised that the launch of MyGov is a strategic step towards advancing digital transformation and streamlining access to government services for citizens and residents in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The MyGov app is an innovative digital initiative providing secure, unified access to multiple government services. It is integrated with the eKey 2.0 system, offering a seamless and secure digital experience for all users.
