Manama : Jameel bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan, Minister of Labour and member of the ministerial committee overseeing Bahrain’s national plan for strengthening national identity and citizenship values, highlighted the ministry’s implementation of the ‘Khubraa’ (experts) and ‘Mn Ajlikum’ (for you) initiatives.
The minister commended Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior and head of the committee, for his support in advancing these projects, which are part of the National Plan to Promote the Spirit of Belonging to the Nation and Reinforce the Values of Citizenship “Bahrainouna” (Our Bahrain) plan.
Humaidan reaffirmed the ministry’s commitment to implementing directives from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. This initiative is supported by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
Regarding the “Khubraa” platform, the minister noted that since its launch in March 2023, it has enlisted 207 Bahraini experts across domains, including 70 in finance, 53 in IT, 20 in healthcare, 48 in engineering, 6 in manufacturing, and 10 in real estate.
This joint initiative with the Information and eGovernment Authority supports national talent by offering a comprehensive database to promote their expertise regionally.
The ministry is preparing to honour workers in high-risk professions in December as part of the ” Mn Ajlikum ” initiative.
This recognition underscores the dedication of Bahrain’s workforce in challenging sectors and the ministry’s ongoing commitment to worker safety through best practices in hazardous roles.
