Manama : : Civil Defence rescued two Asian nationals after pulling them from the rubble of a building collapse in Arad, while one person died and four others were injured.
Civil Defence responded to the incident in coordination with relevant Interior Ministry departments, securing the site and managing traffic in the surrounding area.
Seven Civil Defence vehicles and 38 personnel were deployed to contain the incident. The National Ambulance transported the injured to hospital for medical care.
Initial reports indicate the collapse was caused by a gas cylinder explosion. The building owner has been summoned, and investigations are underway to determine the cause and prevent future incidents.
