Manama: The Labour and Social Development Ministry has allocated a toll-free hotline (32265727) to receive reports of any violations of Edict 3/2013 on banning outdoor work between 12:00 pm and 04:00 during the months of July and August.
The Labour Minstry expressed thanks to the citizens and residents for their constant cooperation in this regard.
Edict 3/2013 aims to safeguard workers’ health, ensure their safety against heat exhaustion and sunstroke as well as prevent summer-related diseases and to reduce occupational incidents in view of the increasing temperatures.
