Manama : The Interior Ministry has taken precautionary measures as of this morning as part of its proactive and preventive approach to maintaining public safety and ensuring preparedness for civil emergency management, in light of recent regional security developments.
The ministry issued a statement in which it expressed its appreciation to the public for their cooperation and understanding regarding these temporary measures, which aim to facilitate the completion of administrative or security tasks as necessary. It clarified that all ministries and government institutions are operating normally and continue to carry out their usual work at all levels in accordance with established plans, with full efficiency, to enhance civil protection and public safety.
The ministry explained that, as circumstances require, awareness messages and guidelines for various situations will be issued through the National Civil Protection Platform, the official accounts of the Interior Ministry, and the “MyGov” application.
The ministry urged all citizens and residents to follow the instructions of official authorities, to ensure information is obtained from official sources, and to refrain from circulating rumours.
