Manama : Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Juma, Minister of Education and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Bahrain Polytechnic, inaugurated the Career Fair 2025, with the participation of over 50 public and private sector companies and institutions.
The event was attended by Professor Ciarán Ó Catháin, CEO of Bahrain Polytechnic.
The minister highlighted the importance of such exhibitions held in partnership with industrial and commercial sectors in the Kingdom, providing a valuable platform for direct engagement with companies and institutions.
Professor Ó Catháin emphasised Polytechnic’s commitment to holding the fair annually. He noted that the fair aims to familiarise students with the needs of the labour market and introduce them to job opportunities across various sectors, including technology, IT, telecommunications, and other modern professional domains aligned with workforce demands.
Following the opening, Dr. Juma toured the participating booths and viewed graduation projects by students across multiple disciplines.
The Career Fair 2025, organised in strategic partnership with Foulath Holding and YK Almoayyed and Sons, and media partnership with Al Watan newspaper, will continue until Thursday, May 8, at Bahrain Polytechnic in Isa Town, from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
