Manama : Bahrain’s Ahmed Taj El Din was received by His Highness Shaikh Salman bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Vice President of the General Sports Authority and President of Bahrain Combat Sports Council (BCSC), on returning from Belgrade, Serbia after winning the gold medal in the 97kg category at the World Wrestling Championship.
Also present were Faris Al Kooheji, Secretary general of the Bahrain Olympic Committee and BCSC and the Bahrain Wrestling Association officials.
HH Shaikh Salman congratulated the wrestling champion on his victory which qualified him to the 2024 Paris Olympics, and wished him luck in clinching Olympic gold.
