Bahrain has reported 469 new cases of coronavirus, among 220 expatriate workers, 242 new cases are contacts of active cases, and 7 are travel-related, after conducting more than 7,000 additional COVID-19 tests.
The death toll stands at 29, as no new death was reported in the kingdom.
Meanwhile, 503 additional recoveries from COVID-19 were reported.
The total cases have driven to 16,200 of which 11,109 have recovered making over 68 percent of the confirmed cases to recover from the virus. Currently, there are 5,062 active cases.
Also, there are 79 COVID-19 cases receiving treatment, of which 14 are in a critical condition.
So far the country has conducted 386,134 tests, which is among the highest when looking at the country’s population.
