Paris : Bahraini heritage and traditions were showcased at the Bahrain majlis at the Paris 2024 Olympics Sports Village. The majlis has received numerous visits from international sports delegations at the global sporting event.
Visiting athletes wore traditional attire, such as the thob nashel, ghutra, and eqal, highlighting the authentic cultural heritage of Bahrain. They learned about Bahraini handicrafts and folk arts.
This initiative underscored Bahrain’s commitment to promoting national heritage and highlighting its ancient culture, emphasising the role of sports in fostering cultural exchange and international understanding.
