Six people, including two police officers, were shot and killed in an exchange of fire at a remote property in Australia’s Queensland state, authorities said on Tuesday. The shootings happened after police visited the place to investigate reports of a missing person. Officers were shot by two armed offenders on Monday evening when they approached the residence on the property in Wieambilla, about 300km north-west of Queensland’s capital Brisbane, state police.
Kuwait : Acting Undersecretary of the Ministry of Oil Faihan Mohammed Al Faihani participated in the 109th meeting of the Council of Ministers of the Organization of Arab Petroleum Exporting Countries (OAPEC) in Kuwait to review topics related to the current and future programs, activities and projects of the organization. Al Faihani stressed that the annual meeting discusses topics that contribute to enhancing cooperation of the global oil market, matters related to the oil and gas sector, establishing joint projects and to enhancing Arab cooperation in the sector.
Manama :The Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA) conducted joint inspection campaigns in the Capital Governorate and Northern Governorate, in cooperation with the Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs (NPRA), General Directorate of Crime Detection and Forensic Science at the Ministry of Interior and the Capital and Northern Governorates Police Directorates. The campaigns resulted in reporting a number of violations related to the Labour Market and Residency laws and were referred for legal action. Manama : The Coast Guard has announced that it will conduct a live firing exercise in Fisht Al-Jarim, north of Bahrain, tomorrow Tuesday from 7 am to 1 pm. It called upon seafarers to be cautious and avoid going near the area during the drill for their safety.
