Bahrain: Minister of Youth and Sport Affairs Ayman bin Tawfeeq Al Moayed received Indian Ambassador to Bahrain Piyush Srivastava. The minister praised the strong bilateral ties and their development in various fields, especially in youth and exchanging expertise, noting the ambassador’s efforts in bolstering Bahraini-Indian ties. The ambassador expressed his pride in the steadily growing friendly relations, stressing India’s keenness to increase cooperation with Bahrain in various fields.

Manama: King Hamad University Hospital (KHUH) has launched  a new application to improve services delivered to patients and citizens. “The smart application facilitates administrative and medical procedures and enforces social distancing to protect people’s health and safety”, said KHUH Commander Lieutenant-General Dr. Shaikh Salman bin Ateyatalla Al Khalifa. The application can be downloaded free of charge from KHUH or King Hamad University Hospital by inserting  Apple store/ google play and screening the QR Code. Bahrain : Education Minister Dr. Majid bin Ali Al Nuaimi said that Bahrain has been able to reduce the illiteracy rate to less than 2.4%, according to the annual Education for All (EFA) report issued by UNESCO. Marking the International Literacy Day, the minister attributed the great achievement to the support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to the Education Ministry which resulted in presenting Bahrain positively in the UNESCO’s six goals of the EFA report, including the minimizing illiteracy goal.
