Bahrain : His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa sent a letter to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud dealing with solid fraternal relations between the two countries and peoples and ways of boosting them. The letter was handed over to Saudi Foreign Minister, His Highness Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, during a meeting today with Bahraini Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, HE. Shaikh Humood bin Abdullah Al Khalifa. They discussed bilateral relations and ways of bolstering them as well as regional and international issues of common interest.

Manama: The Ministry of Information and all its affiliates have mourned Saud Abdullah Saleh Dwisan, the video shooting specialist at the News Directorate, who passed away today. The deceased has been known for his high morals and dedication at work since joining the ministry in 2013. Kuwait : A fire erupted on Monday at a major oil refinery in Kuwait, the state-owned oil company said, reporting that some workers suffered from smoke inhalation and other light injuries. The blaze at the key Mina al-Ahmadi oil refinery along Kuwait’s Persian Gulf coastline north of its border with Saudi Arabia did not affect the electrical supply or oil exports, according to Kuwait’s National Petroleum Company. Several oil contractors were receiving treatment for their burns at a nearby hospital, the company added. MOSCOW : Russia on Monday suspended its mission at NATO and ordered the closure of the alliance’s office in Moscow in retaliation for NATO’s expulsion of Russian diplomats. Earlier this month, NATO withdrew the accreditation of eight Russian officials to its Brussels headquarters, saying it believes they have been secretly working as Russian intelligence officers. NATO also halved the size of Moscow’s team at its headquarters from 20 to 10. Moscow has dismissed the accusations as baseless.
