Manama : The Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA) announced that 14 weddings will be held in the first quarter of 2023 for families from various countries. Dr. Nasser Qaedi, CEO of Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA) affirmed that the authority has doubled its efforts to attract more weddings from various continents, contributing to the recovery of “wedding tourism” in 2023 and building on the achievements pre Covid-19 pandemic. Prague : The Czech Republic has elected Petr Pavel as its president. After a near tie in the first round, Pavel beat Andrej Babis, former Czech Prime Minister, winning 57.8 percent of the votes to 42.2 percent, with over 97 percent of the votes counted. El Alto : At least 24 people died in northern Peru after a bus carrying 60 passengers plunged off a cliff in early on Saturday. Peru’s transportation supervisory agency (SUTRAN) confirmed the crash in a statement, without providing a number of fatalities or injuries, Reuters reported. The tragedy, involving a bus for the company Q’Orianka Tours Aguila Dorada, occurred in the district of El Alto in the far north of Peru, SUTRAN said. Edict (12) of 2013 on naming the minister responsible for SCE prior to the legislature was abrogated.
