The Indian School Bahrain (ISB) has taken steps to distribute textbooks for students at home starting tomorrow (Thursday) amid coronavirus (COVID-19). “The ISB will start the mammoth task of delivering textbooks from Thursday to the thousands of students from LKG to XII who are attending online classes from their homes,” said ISB Chairman Prince S Natarajan. The World Health Organization said on Tuesday that a report that COVID-19 had emerged in December in France, sooner than previously thought, was “not surprising”, and urged countries to investigate any other early suspicious cases. The Bahrain Ministry of Health has announced 18 new recoveries from COVID-19 and registered 146 new active cases of which 127 are expatriate workers, 18 are contacts of active cases, and 1 was repatriated by the ICRP. Bahrain tested a total of 154,584 until now. There are 1,909 active cases. These include 1,908 stable cases and 1 critical case. 1,762 people have been discharged. The Oman Ministry of Health announced on Tuesday the registration of 98 new COVID-19 cases within the Sultanate. 42 of the new cases are Omanis and 56 cases for non-Omanis. Kuwait announces the recovery of 85 people from the coronavirus. (COVID-19), bringing the tally to 2,032. In remarks to KUNA, Kuwait’s Health Minister Dr. Basel Al-Sabah said analyses and medical examinations and tests proved that these cases were cured of the coronavirus.
