The education and health ministries have launched a massive campaign to conduct coronavirus (COVID-19) tests for all public school administrators, teachers and technicians. The tests at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Conference Center are being held according to a specific schedule and should be completed before the start of the academic year. An expatriate dermatologist has been suspended from practicing the profession in Saudi Arabia after being found practicing cosmetic surgery without a licence, local media reported. The decision was issued by Dr. Twfiq Al Rabea, Minister of Health, to crack down on violators of laws in the Kingdom. India aims for 50% of fuel stations owned by public sector oil companies to be operated by solar power within five years under the government’s green energy drive, its oil minister said on Tuesday. Dharmendra Pradhan said India’s three state-backed fuel retailers Indian Oil Corp, Hindustan Petroleum Corp and Bharat Petroleum, which operate about 63,150 fuel station across India, are moving to deploy solar panels across their operations. Record floods in Sudan have threatened sites housing the royal pyramids of Meroe and Nuri, two of the country’s most important archaeological areas, an official said on Tuesday.
