Manama : The Ministry of Social Development honoured the second group of civil society organisations that received ISO 26000 social responsibility compliance certificates, in the presence of Osama bin Saleh Al Alawi, Minister of Social Development. The certificates were awarded as part of an Al Kooheji Foundation project to develop social organisations, under the consultancy supervision of the Regional Network for Social Responsibility. Tangerang : Indonesia reopened its main airport in Jakarta and four others ‌that had been closed due to volcanic ash from Mount Anak Krakatau, although fresh eruptions on Tuesday raised the risk of further disruption. Manama :  INJAZ Bahrain concluded the second edition of the EconoQuesters Programme, delivered in collaboration with the Bahrain Economic Development Board (Bahrain EDB). The four-week programme brought together 12 INJAZ alumni in their third and fourth years of university. Participants were divided into three teams and tasked with assessing Bahrain’s performance in a selected priority sector. They examined the Kingdom’s competitiveness within the region and developed practical recommendations based on their research. Article (I)Abdullah Khaled Al Shomeli shall be appointed Director of the Human Resources Systems Development Directorate at the Civil Service Bureau.
