Manama : The Fuel Pricing and Monitoring Committee has approved fuel prices in the Kingdom of Bahrain for October, in line with the approved pricing mechanism and reflecting changes in global markets. The Committee said the prices will apply from October 2. They are 0.235 Bahraini dinars per litre for Jayyid (91), 0.277 Bahraini dinars per litre for Mumtaz (95), 0.410 Bahraini dinars per litre for Super (98), and 0.260 Bahraini dinars per litre for diesel. Cairo : The Arab Republic of Egypt’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and Egyptians Abroad announced that the eight Egyptian sailors who had been kidnapped aboard the M/T Eureka off the coast of Somalia’s Puntland region since 2 May had been released.  Foreign Ministry spokesman Ambassador Nader Zaki said that Dr. Badr Abdelatty, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and Egyptians Abroad, had instructed the Egyptian Embassy in Mogadishu to receive the Egyptian sailors, check on their well-being, and facilitate their return to Egypt on the earliest available flight.

Manama : The Deputy Chief Prosecutor of the Terrorism Crimes Prosecution stated that the High Criminal Court, in its session held today, convicted a defendant and sentenced him to 10 years in prison and fined him BD 2,000 for endorsing the heinous Iranian terrorist attacks against the Kingdom of Bahrain.
