Manama : His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa departed the Kingdom for the State of Qatar to offer condolences to His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Amir of the State of Qatar, following the passing of His Highness the Father Amir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani. Braga : Bahrain’s national boxing team won seven medals, including four gold, one silver and two bronze, at the Braga International Open Boxing Championship, held in Portugal on July 10 – 12. The gold medals were won by Mohammed Mubarak Hareb, Sayed Alawi Hashim, Mohammed Atiyah and Jayden Price. Mohammed Momen claimed the silver medal, while Rashid Waheed and Maryam Jassim secured bronze medals. Jayden Price was also named Best Boxer in his age category. Abu Dhabi : The United Arab Emirates (UAE) condemned in the strongest terms the renewed Iranian missile and drone attacks targeting the Kingdom of Bahrain, the State of Kuwait, and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the UAE affirmed that the attacks constitute a flagrant violation of the sovereignty of the three countries and a threat to their security and stability. Doha : The Ministry of Transport of the State of Qatar announced on Sunday the suspension of all maritime activities as a precautionary measure, effective immediately and until further notice.
